According to my service advisor, Ford engineers told the tech to take out the sub and reinstall it with extra insulation. So far i have to say, the rattling has decreased a lot.

Though this position gives the maximum in cabin sub bass response, it also means the rear trunk panels and trunk lid are taking a real pounding!
